In Loving Memory

Mary Louise Tompkins was born to Tom and Magnolia Tompkins on March 12, 1953 in Portageville Mo. To that union ten children were born.  Both parents, along with three brothers Tom Jr., Terry and Willie proceeded her in death.

Mary attended St. Louis Public Schools and graduated from Beaumont Senior High in 1972.  Right after graduating high school, she moved to California.  This is where she met and married Al Walters Sr.  To this union Al Jan Walters, Jr. was born who proceeded her in death in 2008.

Mary returned to St. Louis where she met her life partner, or shall I say soul mate David Neal.  TO this special union Davia' Neal was born.  Mary loved life and adored her grandchildren.  She found humor in every situation, even after the loss of her leg.  Mary was known for speaking the truth.  She was definitely a character within herself.

Mary leaves to cherish in her memory life partner David Neal, daughter Davia' Neal (Lee), 2 step-children Davida (Jayveon), and Winston (Justyn), two grandchildren Alexis Walters and Ethan Banks, 2 sisters Ruth and Lydia "Be-Be" (Eric), 4 brothers Ricky, Matthew, Jerome (Faye) and Charles (Angie), 2 special sisters: Bernita "Nita" Sparks (Eric) and Lisa Ramsey, 2 sister in laws Krystal Lee and Dorothy Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
