For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die........Ecclesiastes 3.1.2

Tanga (Tammy) LaSha Morgan was born on September 2, 1969 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Ruby Mays-Davis and the late Charles Edward Morgan. She was the third of four siblings: Erik Morgan and Dalyn Sanders who preceded her in death and Cynthia Tidwell. She confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her grandfather, the late Rev. Willie Morgan.

Tammy moved to St. Louis at a young age with her family. She attended St. Louis Public Schools. She was a member of the Good Community Baptist church for 25 years under the leadership of the late Rev. Herman Union. Tammy participated in the choir, usher and various other church activities.

She was an employee of the University of Missouri at St. Louis for three years in housekeeping. She worked in Human Resources at Mers Goodwill as a secretary. She also worked at Washington University School of Pharmacy.

Through Tammy's many trials and tribulations, she kept her faith in God. She accepted a calling into the ministry in 2006 and has been preaching God's word since her calling.

On July 28, 2012 while praising the Lord she was issued her boarding pass to claim her reserved seat on the eternal flight to glory. She will be welcomed into the good life by her father, Charles Morgan, stepfather, George Davis, brothers; Erik and Dalyn, maternal grandparents, Rev. Harry and Elena Mays, paternal grandparents Rev. Willie and Essie Morgan, Uncle Larry Mays and a cousin Anthony Gatewood.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted mother, Ruby Davis, one daughter, Sharlye Redman, two sons; Darius Morgan and Daunte Redman all of St. Louis; one sister, Cynthia Tidwell of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandson, Sean Thompson; four nieces: Nakea Ishmon (Adrian), Camry Garner, Brittany Lee and Deronica Sanders, two great nephews, three great nieces, ten aunts, nine uncles and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
